Q: Is the test guaranteed to be a pass ( satisfactory )?
A: No, the outcome will be either satisfactory or unsatisfactory
Q: When do I receive the report?
A: We normally aim to get the report over in 24 hours, sometimes during busy times this could be upto 1 week. If you require the certificate in less than 24hours please let us know upon booking.
Q: What options do I have if it is unsatisfactory?
A: If you are a landlord you have 28 days for the defects to be rectified and in all tests we will provide a no obligation quote for remedial work.
Q: How much will the test cost?
A: Please see our prices page.
Q: How long does the test take?
A: For a flat or house hold it can take from 2 hours to a full day depending on the size.
Q: Will the power be off during the test?
A: The power will be on and off during the test, if absolutely necessary we can do a live test to keep the power on.
Q: What frequency does the property need testing?
A: For domestic it is 10 years unless rented which is 5 years MAXIMUM.
Q: Is there a retest fee after the remedial work has been completed?
A: There is no retest fee if the remedial work has been completed by Tripped electrical.
Q: Why is there a lot of codes on the test?
A: Muiltiple codes can be given for the same fault and we will provide a quote outlining what faults there are.
